DOC GAMACHE - OUR COMMUNITY CHAMPION

Dr. Gregory Gamache passed away on Saturday, July 22, 2006 after a courageous battle with cancer.  Greg served as our team physician and was an integral part of our 2005 Wisconsin State Football League (WSFL) Championship team.  Greg gave unselfishly of himself to better our team and our community.

In honor of Greg’s impact on our organization and the West Bend Community, we retired the # 1 Junkyard Dogs jersey before our home game against the Oostburg Rebels (Saturday, September 9,2006 at Pick Field) in honor of Greg and his outstanding contributions to our team and the West Bend area community.

We observe a moment of silence before each of our home games in Greg’s memory.  All  of our players wear a DOC decal to the back of their helmets to honor Greg and remind everyone of the shining example Greg displayed in giving back to our community.
